Tour Overview

Embark on an intimate exploration of Waiheke Island's celebrated wine culture with a private tour crafted for small groups, ensuring a personalized experience. Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from any location on the island, setting the stage for a day of discovery and indulgence.

Your first stop is a scenic stretch at Oneroa Beach, where you can capture a quick photo against the backdrop of its serene shoreline. From there, the tour delves into the heart of Waiheke's wine region. You'll visit a variety of vineyards, each selected for their unique contributions to local viticulture. One highlight includes a visit to a winery nestled in the Onetangi Valley, renowned for its distinctive microclimate and exceptional wines. Here, you'll engage with knowledgeable vintners and sample a selection of wines that embody the area's terroir.

Continuing the wine exploration, the tour ascends to Waiheke's most elevated winery. The location not only offers a chance to taste three meticulously crafted wines but also serves as a spectacular vantage point for enjoying panoramic views while you dine at your leisure.

The final tasting unfolds at the island's most photographed winery, where the fusion of fine wine and striking views of Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf creates a memorable finale.

As the day winds down, you have the flexibility to conclude your tour with a 30-minute walk back to the ferry terminal from Mudbrick Winery or opt for a drop-off at Oneroa for some leisure time, perhaps a swim or a stroll through local shops, before your ferry ride back to Auckland City. This tour not only showcases the best of Waiheke's wineries but also ensures a relaxing, enriching day away from the city bustle.
