Tour Overview

Begin your Waiheke Island adventure at the scenic Matiatia Wharf, where our professional guides, renowned for their deep local knowledge, will warmly welcome you to a day of exploration and indulgence. Your first destination is the Mudbrick Vineyard, a celebrated spot known for its splendid sea views across Waitemata Harbour towards Auckland. Here, the complexities of Waiheke’s wine varietals, such as Chardonnay and Syrah, are yours to discover through an expert-led tasting.

Next, the journey takes you to The Heke, Waiheke’s own craft distillery and brewery nestled within four lush acres of gardens. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast eager to sample the famous Heke Lager or a gin aficionado, the handcrafted spirits here promise to please every palate.

A short drive away lies Stonyridge Vineyard, a tranquil retreat echoing the landscape and aromas of southern France. Amidst olive trees and vibrant vines, enjoy a meticulously prepared platter lunch paired with one of Stonyridge’s renowned wines, perhaps the award-winning Larose, as you relax in the vineyard’s serene setting.

Conclude your tour at the All Press Olive Groves, where the island’s unique microclimate nurtures the finest quality olives. Dive into the world of olive oil with a tasting session that showcases the grove’s premium extra virgin varieties, each enhancing your understanding of this ancient culinary art.

This tour not only promises a sensory delight through Waiheke’s finest vineyards and groves but also offers a genuine connection with the island’s rich agricultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes.
