Tour Overview

Embark on a sailing journey aboard the 41-foot catamaran, Pacific Star, and uncover the natural beauty of the outer Hauraki Gulf. Setting sail from Waiheke Island, this exclusive day trip navigates through the scenic waters, offering a blend of adventure and learning.

During the tour, the Pacific Star makes a significant stop at a pest-free island, recognized for its crucial role in local wildlife conservation. Here, you will be guided through diverse habitats, witnessing firsthand the efforts to preserve native species. This island visit also provides a chance to indulge in water activities like swimming, snorkeling, and stand-up paddleboarding in clear, inviting waters.

As the journey continues, an expert guide will enrich your understanding of the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park. This segment of the tour is not just scenic but also educational, highlighting the ecological significance and cultural history of the gulf's islands. The immersive experience is complemented by sightings of seabirds and, if fortunate, dolphins or even whales, adding a thrilling element to your sail.

For those interested in sailing, skipper Bruce offers a hands-on experience. You can take the helm or assist in trimming the sails, gaining insight into the art of sailing.

Each tour is tailored to the day’s weather and wind conditions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Whether you’re an avid sailor or a nature lover, this unique eco-adventure from Waiheke Island offers a comprehensive glimpse into the vibrant life of the Hauraki Gulf.
