Small-group Waiheke Island day tour from downtown Auckland with ferry, Casita Miro wine pairing, AllPress olive oil tasting, lunch, and beer or spirits.

Tour Overview

Travel from downtown Auckland on the 10 am ferry and cross the Hauraki Gulf in around 35 minutes to Waiheke Island, where a guide meets you on arrival. With a small group of no more than 11 people, the day moves at a relaxed pace and focuses on the island’s food and drink.

Your first stop follows some Coastal Sightseeing, as you head through Waiheke’s shoreline scenery to Casita Miro for a Wine & Food Pairing, featuring 5 wines. The experience then continues at the AllPress Olive Oil Grove, where you taste oils, spread and olives and get a closer look at another side of the island’s local produce.

Lunch is included and served in an award-winning restaurant in a boutique hotel with magnificent views of the island, giving you time to sit down and take in the setting before the final tasting. To finish, choose a Beer or Spirits tasting at The Heke Brewery/Distillery.

This Waiheke Island day tour is designed around flavour, scenery and a small-group format, with return timing planned so you can make the ferry back after the tour. The tour operates with a minimum of 4 people.
